Electrical & Electronics Engineer (Embedded Systems)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer specialising in Embedded Systems. The role focuses on electronic hardware and embedded software development, particularly in the Mid-Level Defence and IoT sectors. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in embedded systems, PCB design, and hardware development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test hardware/firmware for embedded systems.
- Design and develop PCBs, including schematic design and layout for high-speed circuits.
- Execute projects in Defence, IoT, and Consumer Electronics domains.
- Conduct technical assessments including DFM, DFT, DFV, FMEA, and RCA.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
Core Technical Requirements:
- Experience with 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming and Arduino IDE.
- Familiarity with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485, USB.
- Wireless communication expertise: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, 4G/5G.
- Experience with RFID systems, IoT systems, Zigbee, GPS/GSM.
- PCB Design & Development, including schematic design using OrCAD 16.6, Eagle, Fusion 360, KiCAD, and Allegro.
- Knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes, following IPC standards.
- Hardware Design experience, including EMI/EMC considerations.
- Expertise in power electronics and component selection.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance: CE, RoHS, MIL-STD.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Sound knowledge of PCB design and development will be an added advantage.
- Ability to join on short notice is preferred.

Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid-Level) (Robotics & Unmanned Systems)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of innovative robotic and unmanned systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to product design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the transition from concept to production while ensuring engineering excellence. Prior experience in Defence-related product development is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Project Management
- Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for robotics and unmanned platforms.
- Support new product development (NPD) initiatives, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Define project milestones, technical requirements, and development timelines for robotic systems.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis (RCA) to ensure project success.
- Guide collaboration with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
Prototype to Production Support
- Oversee fabrication and validation of functional prototypes.
- Manage the transition of designs from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Develop assembly instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct shop floor visits to coordinate with manufacturing teams and resolve design challenges.
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
- Implement DFM best practices to optimize design for production.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement design improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to refine assembly processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry and Defence standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-1472.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with electrical, software, and control engineers for seamless system integration.
- Partner with industrial designers to ensure ergonomic and aesthetic solutions.
- Align technical capabilities with business goals in collaboration with product management.
- Engage with test engineers to develop comprehensive validation protocols for robotic systems.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with emerging robotics and manufacturing technologies.
- Conduct patent research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis for innovation.
- Identify cost reduction and performance enhancement opportunities.
- Develop and refine engineering processes and best practices for the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, GD&T, and RCA principles.
- Experience in NPD and engineering project execution.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and prototype-to-production transition.
- Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with Defence-related products and military applications.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and other Defence industry regulations.
- Expertise in motion control systems, actuation mechanisms, and robotic motion planning.
- Hands-on experience with machining, sheet metal, and injection moulding.
